Lorraine has extensive experience of leadership and organisational development within the financial services, publishing and public sectors. Her work has encompassed the design and delivery of UK and global people development strategies as well as medium to large scale organisational and cultural change initiatives. She combines a pragmatic, outcome focused approach with an energetic and inspiring personal style in working with her clients and their teams. She partners with them to develop interventions that have clear expectations and outcomes aimed at contributing to their business success.
Lorraine has a strong belief in how professional success can be improved by an increased understanding of how we are experienced by our peers and those we lead or manage. How as leaders we can get the best out of individuals and teams by raising our self-awareness and considering how we engage and communicate with them. She particularly enjoys working with teams where these dynamics are multiplied, supporting the team to understand their collective strengths and weak spots and using this knowledge to increase performance.
Lorraine incorporates a range of models and psychometric tools including Insights Discovery, into the design of her interventions each aimed at identifying the key issues and working to address them. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and an accredited Senior Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. In addition to her corporate clients, Lorraine also provides pro-bono coaching and mentoring support for leaders and emerging leaders in the charity sector.
