Giving Back: Making a Difference Together
Supporting communities, nurturing potential and creating positive impact through people and learning.
Doing good isn't a side project

We're incredibly fortunate to work with brilliant people and organisations every day. Giving something back isn't a box we tick once a year – it's part of who we are.
Whether that's helping local charities strengthen their teams, supporting talented young athletes, sponsoring fundraising events, or mentoring future leaders, we're committed to using our time, expertise and resources to make a positive difference in our communities.
Here's how we're doing that.

Gift of Discovery: Supporting Local Charities
One of the ways we're most proud to give back is through our Gift of Discovery programme.
Working alongside the Insights Foundation, we provide charities and not-for-profit organisations with access to Insights Discovery workshops that would otherwise be out of reach financially. The Foundation exists to help organisations doing important work develop stronger leaders, more connected teams and greater impact in the communities they serve.
The workshops help teams better understand themselves and each other, improve communication, build stronger working relationships and create a shared language that supports collaboration and growth. Through the Insights Foundation, accredited practitioners donate their time while the Foundation provides access to the tools and resources needed to make it happen.
In 2026 alone, we've already delivered Gift of Discovery workshops for:
Discovery UK
Hope After Harm
British Association for Immediate Care
Bramley Oak Academy
These organisations are making a real difference every day, and we're honoured to play a small part in supporting the people behind the mission.

And if you know a fantastic charity that deserves support, click the "Get in Touch" button and tell us about them. We're always looking for opportunities to help great people doing great work.

Supporting Future Talent
Freya Gordon
We're proud to sponsor Freya Gordon, an elite swimmer from Haslemere Swimming Club here in Surrey.
For us, this isn't simply sponsorship – it's about backing someone whose dedication, resilience and ambition reflect the values we live by every day.
Freya trains more than 16 hours every week, travels across the country to compete, and somehow balances all of that alongside her GCSE studies. In 2025 she qualified for the British National Championships before going on to win four gold medals at the English National Championships in the 100m, 200m and 400m Freestyle events, as well as the 400m Individual Medley.
We're excited to be part of her journey and can't wait to see what comes next.

Sponsoring Events That Make a Difference
We're also proud to support events that raise vital funds for good causes.
In 2026, Blue Gnu became Headline Sponsor of the Brawn F1 "Making It Possible" event in London. As lifelong Formula 1 fans, it was an event particularly close to our hearts.
All funds raised at the event were for Hope for Tomorrow, a cancer charity that helps bring treatment closer to patients through its fleet of mobile cancer care units. Working with NHS trusts across England, the charity enables people to receive vital cancer treatment in their local communities, reducing the need for long and often difficult journeys to hospital.
For us, it was a fantastic opportunity to combine something we love with supporting a cause that genuinely changes lives.

Mentoring and Development
Giving back isn't always about money.
Across Blue Gnu, we regularly invest our time mentoring individuals, supporting emerging leaders and sharing our experience with people looking to develop their careers and confidence.
We've benefited enormously from the people who have supported us throughout our own journeys. Mentoring is one way we can pass that support on and help others unlock their potential.
Sometimes a conversation, a fresh perspective, or a bit of encouragement can make all the difference.
One example is Louise, a young female founder from an underrepresented Gen Z community.
We originally funded Louise's ticket to SOFest in Summer 2025 because we believe talent and potential shouldn't be limited by access or opportunity. What we didn't expect was that a single event would turn into an ongoing mentoring relationship.
Since then, we've continued to support Louise as she develops her ideas, builds her confidence and explores what's next. It's a reminder that sometimes the biggest impact comes from opening a door and seeing where it leads.
